Biography

Dr. Morris comes to this position with a background not only in Emergency Medicine but also in inpatient hospitalist, urgent care, primary care, and pharmaceutical clinical trials. Since formal education, he has continued to take an interest in using advancements in technology such as portable bedside ultrasonography to help aid in the physical exam. Dr. Morris is a patient-centered physician committed to providing personalized evidence-based care.

Dr. Morris earned his B.S. degree in Biology at the University of California, Irvine. Prior to starting medical school, he worked as an Emergency Medical Technician doing 911 ambulance response in Orange County and Los Angeles County. Dr. Morris obtained his M.D. degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin. From there, he completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Loma Linda University Medical Center. Dr. Morris is board certified in Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Morris continued his professional journey by working in a critical access emergency department where he also served on the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee. He went on to an administrative role within primary care and urgent care hybrid outpatient clinics. His most recent experience is at a critical access hospital working as both an emergency medicine physician and an in-patient hospitalist.
