Biography
Edward F. Littlejohn is the CEO of Discover Health, where he leads the company’s efforts to redefine personalized care through a modern, scalable concierge model. This approach is driven by a simple yet powerful belief: exceptional healthcare should feel personal, not transactional. With over 25 years of experience as a healthcare executive, he is well known for his ability to transform complex organizations, unlock growth in various markets, and consistently achieve operational excellence.
Edward’s career spans pivotal leadership roles in both public and private equity–backed healthcare systems. At Kaiser Permanente’s San Diego Service Area, he served as Chief Operating Officer for a $3B integrated delivery system serving over half a million members. He went on to lead Fountain Valley Regional Hospital, a 400-bed tertiary care facility within Tenet Healthcare, driving the organization to achieve top national rankings for performance, quality, and patient outcomes.
As COO of Spero Health, Edward engineered a period of unprecedented expansion, growing from 18 to 96 locations across three new states, dramatically increasing access to community-based addiction treatment. His leadership philosophy is defined by a relentless focus on operational discipline, alignment of high-performing teams, and an unwavering commitment to patient-centered care.
