About Discover Health
Discover Health is a network of concierge medical practices operating in Washington, Massachusetts, and California.
What is “concierge medicine?”
Concierge medicine is a form of primary care (internists and/or family practice physicians) which charges a monthly membership fee so that patients can have 24/7 phone, text, and email access to their dedicated physician, make same or next-day appointments (with no wait times), and spend as much time as they need with their doctor during those appointments. This is relationship-driven medicine, where your doctor is your partner in your healthcare journey.
Our concierge clinics do take insurance, however, unlike traditional primary care clinics, concierge clinics are not wholly-dependent on insurance revenue to cover their costs. In this way, the doctor can be more available to you, rather than rushing from patient to patient all day (traditional primary care doctors only get about 10 minutes with each patient because they need to see 25-30 patients per day).
What’s next?
For Discover Health to open this location, we need to sign up at least 200 patients by December 31st 2024 who will be committed members in the first year. This practice can take up to 350 members, after which point we will open a waiting list, and will consider adding an additional doctor. The practice is members-only, and patients will be signed up on a first-come, first-served basis.
If you are interested in signing up for the waitlist to join this practice, please click the button below. You will be asked to submit a deposit of $250. This deposit is 100% refundable, and will cover your first month’s membership within our medical practice. For the first 200 people who sign up, we will discount your first year’s membership to $3,000 per year. After that point, the membership cost will be $3,400 per year.
If we do not reach a threshold of 200 committed members by December 31, 2024, we will refund your deposit in-full by February 1, 2025.
