Healthychildren.org is a trusted resource for parents with information vetted by the American Academy of Pediatrics. You can read about specific conditions as well as browse and search topics relevant to your child’s age and development.
CDC Milestone Tracker - Milestones matter! Track your child’s milestones from age 2 months to 5 years with CDC’s easy-to-use illustrated checklists; get tips from CDC for encouraging your child’s development; and find out what to do if you are ever concerned about how your child is developing. There’s even a mobile app.
Environmental Working Group- The EWG is a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to protecting human health and the environment. The EWG has long been a resource for both adult and pediatric doctors when providing safety advice for everything from lead in the water to cosmetics to sunscreen.
Health and Environment It’s an online database of diseases and the strength of relationships with various environmental toxicants based on currently available scientific data.
Lactmed- The LactMed® database contains information on drugs and other chemicals to which breastfeeding mothers may be exposed. It includes information on the levels of such substances in breast milk and infant blood and the possible adverse effects in the nursing infant.
